Childhood fantasy

FULFILLED!!

In first grade I had a best friend named Brittney Shnore.  She was always dressed so cute and stylish...not to mention her mom!  Her mom was all young and stylish ( I think she was like 23 at this point in time).  I have this mental vision in my head of her mom making us a snack in the kitchen, wearing stone washed jeans and red high heels!  I remember thinking,

"I cannot WAIT to be old so I can wear RED HIGH HEELS with my JEANS!!!"

So yes, this is me wearing my first REAL pair of skinny jeans with red high heals!  Little did I know that my childhood fantasy has some major backing to it.  I did a little research and here is a bit of what I found:

"Wearing Red High Heels gives women self-confidence and will help us overcome our inhibitions as well as helping us to be seductive and alluring. There is something glamorous about Red High Heels that can transform our lives. Red High Heels have magical powers."

Wow, Magical powers?  No wonder I was into them when I was 7 :)

So, if your not into skinny jeans yet, let me talk you through your experience in the dressing room.   You will think:

1. What?  Am I really this short and stubby?
2. So wait, WHY did we decided to bring the 80's jeans back again?
3.  Maybe I'll look a little better in these with heels on?
4.  Why do you always look HEEBES in the dressing room mirror?  (probably because it's one foot in front of you)
5. Maybe I'll just take them home and see what Alana thinks.  I can always take them back.

Right at this moment in my thought process, I looked down at the tag.
$9.50

What $9.50?  I cannot afford NOT  to buy them!!

Just throw away those dressing room thoughts and start rockin the skinnies.  I'm sure most of you already have, I'm just a little behind the times..probably due to the 5'3 dilemma.

I did venture out and get a these puppies a few months back.
They are skinny jeans but not SO tight at the ankle.  This is a co-worker and I.  We were laughing so hard because I walked in the office and he says
"Look Heid, we  are a checkered board!!"
We are not supposed to wear jeans to work and I ran into the owners the day I was wearing this.  I hurry and said
"Hey look, these are my HEARTS for HOSPICE pants!"
Since our company color is RED
They started laughing and said that I should wear a sign that says 'call us with a referral.'  Smart move...I totally slid by with wearing the jeans that day.

The real reason I love wearing the red skinnies is because it totally reminds me of  MJ!!
Another childhood fantasy ....being this girl with him!  When I'm wearing these pants or the red shoes I find myself singing to myself  "Hey pretty baby with the High heels on..."

If you haven't seen his movie "This is it!"  You better get on it.  It is a amazing!
